Default QQ second pair.

The preflop raiser is loose which has raised powerhouse
hands like Q6s.

Bet the flop. If you get raised, you can decide to call down or fold depending on who raised it and who else is hanging around.

I usually check this and see what happens, just to save a bet. Against three opponents, there's more than a 1/3 chance someone has a king.

Hero reaches for chips and leads on the flop. The rest depends on the action.

checking seeing what happens is bad...all it does is put yourself in a tough spot and allow yourself to be pushed off a better hand and potentially lose the WHOLE POT. Sure, someone can have a K but you dont know that and they dont know that you dont either.

I bet and see what happens. This does not mean Im commiting myself to SD...see, it depends on the action and who gives it.

Just curious, but where do you get 1/3 from?

Interesting user name...

Not sure where you're getting the 1/3 from, I'm thinking initial raiser could have any two cards and the button, having called twice, seems to be along for the ride with some sort of drawing hand. I think we're in front more often than not, bet it. Possibly fold to aggression from the button, call down to aggression from the initial rasier.

No?

There are 47 cards, 3 of which are kings. So the six other cards will not contain a king C(44,6)/C(47,6) or about 0.66, so someone will have a king about 34% of the time.

Am i way off here?

Okay, so checking is not as good as betting. I'll agree to that.

No, that makes sense. Although in that case, the probability of there being a king should be higher than 34%. One guy raised and one guy called 2 cold. It's more likely they have higher cards than say, 6's and 2's. Even taking that into account though, the chances of you betting now and winning or getting called by worse hands still makes a bet +EV.
