Villain is 16/10/4 over 300 hands and seems solid.

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
Meh if you are calling solely for set value, you aren't really getting odds. Folding preflop is kinda nitty, but I don't mind it against a rare regular at nl50. As played I just dump the flop.

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
Ship_it_trebek is right, calling for set value only does not have sufficent odds here. So either fold PF or 4bet if you think he is making a move at you cause you've been so active recently...

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
I agree with the other comments about folding preflop or 4-betting.
As played, I would fold the flop. Why did you call the flop and fold the turn ? |

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
4-bet or fold is pretty good advice
im leaning towards a fold unless you have history/reads. |

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
How is he not getting odds for hitting a set here? It's 4.25 for $55

Re: 50NL JJ OOP Standard Line?
MrBump: I had villain's cbet% at 75 so I figured there was a good chance he'd stab flop with AK, but when he shoved turn, it was pretty much a high PP. (I need to stop making plays like this OOP). I think the best move probably would've been to fold to the 3bet preflop, but it just seemed weak at the time.

Depends on opponent but if I saw you as someone who could fold an overpair, I'm double barreling AK in position as well (not saying that he had it here but just for thought). |
