Default Overplaying TPTK, Overpairs Live vs. Online

most 2+2ers are primarily online players with some live play. In my case, I learned to play live and play primarily live and only recently play online.

One aspect of my game that has been plaguing me online is something that I have no problem with in Live play. FOLDING. I am too trapable in online play. Particularly with TPTK and overpairs. I have been getting stacked at a high rate with them. Below is an example of a hand I overplayed TPTK and even though we know that my TPTK is no good, try to please give me a line you would realistically take. Just assume we want to maximize EV if we we arent beat, and also allow us to not be married to the hand.

Thanks

I apologize in advance for no hand converter it is blocked at work.

a) ssnl may fit better
b) what is your table image?
c) what is the villain like?

As played is often standard, but obv. not if one of you is nitty.

Okay sorry should have included more.. Sat down 10 min ago at table. I had seen villain 3bet twice, but never went to SD. I think he is LAG but not a maniac. I hadn't been involved too much, I think I made on button raise and folded to a turn bet after I cbet a flop I missed. Yes I agree its SSNL, but live I primarily play 5/5, and 5/10NL. Since I have just began playing online I am starting low and I would like to get a perspective from people in MSNL.

Part of what I am getting at is: In live play many players are so passive that when I am getting rasied like this I can correctly fold hands like this. Online I am going to showdown with them. Perhaps, I am just overly concerned because SC's have been making 2pr and PP have been getting sets more than they ought to.

So, lets say my image is slightly LAG to TAG and I am against an equivelant player. Should I go with it in spots like this? If so, I will just mark it down to variance and move on.

Hmm, if he's 3 betting preflop then the most important thing to know is whether he plays a draw this way, because he isn't going to show up with a weak ace here. On a drawy board, OOP against an aggressive player this seems pretty standard.

LOL @ Colms playing 1/2.

You should stack off to him here on this board everytime.

He is a MSNL reg?

Maybe I am just being results orientated and playing paranoid, since over the last 10k hands I am negative on JJ QQ KK and AKo. If this is standard against similar villain, I am okay with that just wanted to plug the leak if this was one.

Hmm. Maybe this is a bad example hand. Perhaps you are misplaying in reraised pots?

I dont want to overlook any possibility but I dont think I am misplaying the 3bet pots. For the most part I am always 3betting pre with my premium hands above and putting it in on fairly safe boards, I have run into lots of 2pairs and sets from hands I dominated preflop.
in a 3bet pot I would only be more commited to TPTK or overpairs due to I have a large portion of my stack in (SPR).

Accordingly I think this is a good example because I dont fault myself for getting stacked with overpairs in 3bet pots, but with hands like these (raised pre and hit overpair or TPTK) perhaps I am making mistakes by going to showdown with it. Thoughts?

3-betting flop is fine versus non nits as is calling and checkraising a blank turn if he usually follows up on the turn after raising the flop.
