Wither Betty Carey?

So I just recieved my copy of the "Poker Faces 2" that was on sale at the WSOP, and saw some pictures of an attractive female player with a LOT of chips stacked in front of her from the 70's. I could only guess that was Betty Carey, who I had heard was a fearless player back then, but has long since disappeared from the scene. Anyone have any info on what happened to her? If she were around today looking like she did 30 years ago, I'd think she'd be a huge star.

Her hair looks like a Brillo pad that was ripped apart by a puppy and her name is Betty.

I guess so. It's really big, really heavy, really expensive,and really cool tho. Just wish there was more pics from the late 70's to early 2000's

Yeah, this is the story I always hear about her.

I know a lot of people that used to play with her in the old days. The next time I talk to one of them I will ask them if they know what happened to her.
