Default Flopped Set.. Did i play this right?

Very first hand - obviously no reads.
Obviously its a [censored] flop for a set and I definitely feel like I'm head of his total range but I think its fairly close. I played the turn and river very passive just for pot control. My question for everyone is this, should I be playing for stacks with this kind of board or should I be playing for pot control? Which is more EV+? (i understand this is opp. dependent but with no reads at all which line would you choose?)

I would raise preflop.

I would probably 3bet that flop too.

yeah id 3bet the flop cuz you wanna get info on villain while the pot is small, if you do massive bets and he still calls then your pot commited and hope that any draw wont hit but yeah, put it all in baby

Oh and IMO you can do a 3x raise pf as a pot sweetener ....

Definitely 3 bet the flop...It's scary (Not THAT scary) but you should charge them for their draws while getting the maximum value from them while they think they have good equity in the pot, and in the extremely rare event of a floped straight we've a lot of outs anyway (Set over set and the other person is just destined to get your money).

I'd definitely raise pre, too.

I actually think three-betting the flop scares away a lot of hands. I sort of doubt villains at this level raise flush draws, he prob has something like A8o or some other trashy hand given the open limp. I prefer check raising the turn big because it commits the villain a lot more after he continues his flop aggression. With 100 BB stacks you can get all or most of it in by the river with how the flop action plays out. And yeah, raise pre-flop.
