Animal Crossing

Even more moving if you've played the game before. If you haven't, then it's sorta like the sims with cartoon animals.

Pretty sad story, but I think it's even more sad that she spent so much time on the computer and not with her family...

I kept expecting that a YTMND site was more likely a joke than serious (waiting for the NEDM). But it wasn't - just a short, touching story.

So, not a YTMND gag, but unfortunately, 2p2's ability to always turn something around and find fault is intact.

C'mon, man. This was clearly the mother's entertainment, but she was very much about her family. A year later the survivors got a poignant reminder of that.

It's fine to keep a deconstructive eye out, but it seems unwarranted here.

EDIT: Now that I think about it I think there is a good chance it isn't true but it is still heart wrenching regardless.
