river is a standard/easy bet. people that dont bet the riv should re think it.

agreed. but ppl who call minraises on the river [for 1/2 of raisers stack nonetheless] w/ 8s in this spot should also rethink their call, as their good here like never.

& no, idk wtf he has, but it for sure had u beat, and usually will.

gp what was your plan when you checked flop awaiting the obv c bet that somehow didnt come this time. were you looking to come over the top or were you check calling? if c/c are you doing this because you want to control the pot or because you are trapping in your head?

I think folding preflop is probably pretty similar in EV to calling. Sometimes I bet the turn and my river bet size is usually smaller (though I think I like yours more). I call the river raise because damn it, I want to know what he has.

Yeah I bet less on river, I'd probably call this since it's so weird but I'll bet he showed up with A2s.
