Yeh Big Jim ahwat stats do you run at? If you don't mind saying.. perhaps you could just say roughly some ranges.

Doesnt FGators play like 18/11?

[/ QUOTE ]
I tend to run around 22/16.

FGators' stats on on the first page, 21/14.6

fgators,

everyone makes mistakes - even Brian Townsend admits to the rare mistake while playing

what % of the time do you make a mistake while playing poker?

Fact 2: I get sweating from 2+2er and winning player Sputnik2000 (small sample), 2+2er and winning player hockeystud94 (small sample), adn AJMargarine, they don't find any real apparent problems in my game.

Having someone watch you play while occasionally asking what cards you have on AIM...

[/ QUOTE ]

Kind of an inaccurate characterization. Yes, I don't know most of the hands he folded pf and that's probably part of your point. But, he told me every hand he played pf over 4 tables over 1/2 an hour or so.

And fg, you are really not representing me accurately in this thread. I don't log AIM convos so I don't have it I guess.

quiz for big jim...assume vs unknowns at 1/2.

[/ QUOTE ]
Oh boy, I'm good at quizzes.

[ QUOTE ]
1. SB open completes, you have Q9s in BB, your play?

[/ QUOTE ]
Raise the pot. I'd do this with almost ATC.

[ QUOTE ]
2. SB open PFR's to $6 with about 80 bb's effective, you have AQo, your play? If you 3b, how much?

[/ QUOTE ]
Raise the pot.

[ QUOTE ]
3. CO open limps, SB completes, you check in BB with QcTd. Flop is Qs9h8h. SB checks, you bet $4, CO raises to $12, SB folds, your action?

[/ QUOTE ]
Fold.

How'd I do?

2/3 different than fg actual action.

Granted, #2 is just bet sizing. He went to $24 which is too much imo.

I do play like Big_Jim. I bet if we edited out my play in hands pulled from the database and asked him to fill in my action we'd be dead on.

[/ QUOTE ]

FGators, you've said numerous times in msnl that you respect my game, so hopefully my opinion will mean something to you. I've never had the misfortune of running up against Big Jim @ the tables (that I know of), but he is one of the very top strategy posters in msnl. That being said, I have played against you a number of times. You do not play well. You DO NOT play like Big Jim. I'm not saying this to hurt your feelings, but you are the definition of a tagfish. Believe it or not, alot of us actually do know what we're talking about. You are not very good @ poker...

the fact that you could even convince YOURSELF that this is possible to do just by reading his posts in MSNL is LOL. the fact that you're trying to convince real ppl is even funnier though

Why can't we just take a cheap flop in position? (screw no strategy in BBV)
