Lisandro is obviously a top player. Certainly atleast at the level of the other fairly well known players left. I understand he is a fairly high stakes cash games player.

I wonder if there are other fairly strong pros who are not primarily high buyin tournament players who are left in this event.

I'm routing for Lisandro too. With Prahlad, I like making fun of him with the freestyle and all, but he's still our guy. I wish he'd win but I know with his stack it's looking pretty bleak.

[/ QUOTE ]

he's 16th of 27, near the middle of the pack, and he's the best player left .. that doesn't sound bleak

[/ QUOTE ]

Lisandro and Cunningham are arguably better tournament players than PF.

[/ QUOTE ]

Cunningham is arguably being insulted when it comes to comparing tournament play - but saying Prahlad is the best player left isn't that obnoxious.

Lisandro is listed as being from Italy. Perhaps his original country of origin was Australia but I am not aware of that.

Well, Cunningham can be sporadic, but yes, he has a MUCH better record overall than either PH or JL. I was just being diplomatic.

I'd vote Lisandro as "least likeliest to blow up over the last 3 tables." The guy is a machine. Prahlad may be more creative and Cunningham more solid in theory, etc, but Lisandro has the demeanor and poise to be the favorite at this point IMO. I've seen Cunningham blow up at a FT before and PF seems very tiltable. They both have the skills to win it of course, but I'll take Lisandro. (Although I'm pulling for Doug and Eric)

i played for about 9 hours with lisandro on day 1. he was not only fun to play with, but friendly, wanted to teach people things, etc. while i'd like PF to do very well, i'm rooting for jeff.

If Mahatma didnt spend so much time making $2000/hr in Cash games I am sure his tournament record would be more impressive.
