Default DS can\'t reply in his own thread?

Why does DS need to start one thread after another when he is practically saying the same thing?
How many times would he have been banned if he weren't a red?

His constant new-thread-for-practically-same-thought is somewhat amusing I guess and makes his comments on it especially easy to find obviously but I think it detracts from the actual topic at hand and ends up turning it all into a lot of individual, "DS, please stop doing this" type threads.

Thought maybe a slightly more serious discussion about whether his new-thread-for-each-thought tendency might be warranted.
So naturally I brought this topic to ATF!!

I don't know, I find it hilarious for some reason. Maybe because I don't go to NVG or SMP much anymore so don't have to deal with it. I remember the threads all being very similar: DS starts a thread with a question/comment/hypothetical, a bunch of people pile on with "WTF Slansky, you're ruining this forum" and he just ignores all those people and does it again. Cracks me up.

I'm pretty sure that it's never his plan at the beginning. He just sees where the thread is going, is disappointed, and starts another. Repeat.

Cue Sklansky starting an ATF thread to address your concerns.

tuq,

check out his thread in BFI where he says he's lazy and wants a bank to walk into and throw a million or so into a CD.

People go on to give him excellent advice with all sorts of graphs and trends and analysis about foreign currency and gold and he comes back with "I think you are all underestimating my laziness. I don't need advice, I need a bank I can walk into and get a million dollar CD...etc."

Then people accuse him of making a dumb brag post. Pretty funny to read it as it unfolded.

I would describe it more as annoyingly hilarious.

If somebody else did this I would find it hilarious also because it's just so silly but I definitely would expect him to get banned.

Noah,

Holy crap that thread is pure gold. He didn't tilt just anyone, he tilted Stephen Feraca, which always leads to good times. And David responds to him with this:

You are way too sensitive. Everybody knows that I have a lot more than a million dollars so how was it bragging?

[/ QUOTE ]
So awesome.

I think DS believes he gets more responses by breaking it up into different threads. He's probably right.
