yeah...joking aside, it's still not easy

it's just pretty awesome to have to only win the NL Central (something I know alot about being a Cards fan), then playing one of the weakest #1 or #2 teams according to pythag or whatever, and then potentially facing a wild card or another weak #1 or #2 team.

Just weird how it works out. In theory, they might have had to only play 5 games over .500 during the regular season and then beat a team whose W3 and L3 are below .500, and then beat a random 90 win team.

It's good to be in the NL Central!

(not a knock on Cub fans, just an observation. I know how often the Cards have benefitted from the NL central's weakness of late.)
