I wanted to do something special for my 10,000th post. I decided to go back through all my early turbos and see how i did in them

I played my first turbo on 4/16/06. I played my 50th turbo on 7/04/06. So wow was i addicted.

For each turbo, i list the date, a link to the turbo, the mod, the wolves, and the seer. I did not list the villagers. I also included a favorite quote from each turbo. Then i give the result of how i did in the turbo, and keep track of my stats as we go on and on.

There are actually 52 games listed. Game 20a was sort of a werewolf game but i dont think it should count. And Game 25a was voided soon after it started due to FPS angleshooting. And i think everyone knows how i feel about that [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

4 hour Classic turbo. Mebenhoe gets drunk and goes to sleep. Village blames mostsmooth for the loss -- glad he doesnt post anymore what a retart.
Final 3 was Mets, VR, and Madtown - and Mets was a wolf for the first time and won in the final 3! Notice a pattern -- the wolves used to always win in the old days.

But village prevails so it is all good!

Another game that doesnt really count cause it ended before it really started. This was an american idol themed turbo and you were given your american idol name. The wolves were given the names Randy, Paula, and Simon. Bobo wanted everyone to reveal their roles .. and the wolves would have to lie and it was an automatic win for the village. He was correct, but it made playing the game pointless.

Wowzers -- first 50 posts is everyone fighting about the previous turbo that was ruined with the angleshoot. Bobo ends up apologizing to everyone in POG except for Kyro and Hornacek. This turbo started a mini-feud with me and scotthoward -- he got me lynched as the seer and said "well seers should act like villagers" ... and Scott and I voted for each other for probably the next 10 turbos or so. I had an awesome seer game -- i pushed for Chris V, Nich, VR, and Scott all game ... and the retarted village ignored me and lost the game. Horn even pts out that if the village listened to me it would be an easy victory.

So there you have it POG. 55% overall. Through 50 games i was better than 60% as villager, just under 50% as a wolf, and 40% as the seer.
Better than i expected to be actually. I figured i was under 50% in the begining for sure
I've been a wolf 28% of the time -- avg should be about 22% in a 9er and 23% in a 13er so i guess is about right so the notion that im always a wolf is exagerated, but yes i am a wolf more than the average pogger apparantly.

Interesting read.

It's interesting that we had a lot of the same people, but back then we would regularly have a turbo going in the afternoon, then another in the evening at say 8, then another that started at 11 or 12 and went until the wee hours. Now we just don't have the stamina I guess.
