I wouldn't raise the flop here unless I was going to cap, but I don't feel like doing that with our image. I prefer calling flop/turn and likely raising the river depending on how the villain plays.

I don't like raising the river at all. People get too defensive with pairs and when they aren't defensive your hand will be the best draw a reasonable % of the time. I think most of the time you'll be better off with a mix of call/call/fold (raise if you hit) or call/raise/bet or similar lines than call/call/raise.

Pot is definitely big enough for a desperation bluff - plenty of his range beats us but is not definitely showing down. If we checked through and he took it with K8 I would SCKM.
