Concern with the end results is the process by which we get there [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

The end result (a fully free and privatized society) is a long ways away, no one knows what it will look like, and chances are none of us will live to see it. However, it's very interesting matter for discussion (especially the very hypothetical stuff like privatized courts and militaries), and that's why we end up talking about it so much.

I can speak for all the ACists when I say that the first step is the reestablishment of a gold standard. Ship it. Everything else is just piss in a bucket compared to that. The only way that could ever come about is by raising the public interest in libertarian values and a basic understanding of economics, and to do so, we often have to (and enjoy) discussing the end results [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
