Default (200 6m) combo draw - with turn and river content!

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Hero ($413.40)
UTG ($273.65)
MP ($211)
CO ($197.75)
Button ($197)
SB ($413)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls $2, Button calls $2, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($8) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
SB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $6</font>, <font color="#CC3333">CO raises to $12</font>, Button folds, SB folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $36</font>, CO calls $24.

Turn: ($80) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $50</font>, CO calls $50.

River: ($180) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks

Villain is 53/16/1.9, generally terrible. Plan was to push a non-spade, non-5 river. I guess I would push a spade too.

I don't like the flop bet 3-bet. It sets up a big pot with a lot of money behind on a blank turn against a calling station. As played, easy shove. These guys will not VB one or two pair here, and I see the missed draws just give up after this action. I mean you've shown so much strength, they're rarely bluffing this river IME.

Cant argue with this advice. Just call the minraise on the flop, you dont have any folding equity against this guy once he minraises like that. It looks like he has 78 or a set and he should pay them off on the river.

What's your line on a blank turn after just calling? The thinking behind the 3bet was that it would allow me to keep the initiative on the turn and usually allow me to see a reasonably priced river.
