Vote.com - related to recent bill that passed house
On another forum I came across a link to vote.com to vote on the question:
Was The House Right To Pass A Bill Banning Credit Cards From Paying For Internet Gambling? After voting and registering I got the following email which has a link below. Right now 66% of voters in this poll support the bill, so though I would pass the info on to some poker player. I thought it was cool that they email the proper congressman, kind of not cool with 66% voting yes. Dear Vote.com voter: You recently voted on the question: WAS THE HOUSE RIGHT TO PASS A BILL BANNING CREDIT CARDS FROM PAYING FOR INTERNET GAMBLING? Your vote of NO! has been mailed to: Honorable Edward M. Kennedy () (D), United States Senate Honorable John F. Kerry () (D), United States Senate The Honorable John W. Olver () (D), U.S. House of Representatives If you feel strongly about this issue, we encourage you to ask your friends and family to vote on it at this link: http://www.vote.com/vote/60396619/index.phtml |

Re: Vote.com - related to recent bill that passed house
Vote.com has a heavy conservative bias and has been around for quite some time...their results are all so skewed to the right that I doubt it carries much weight with our representatives.
