to dispute the charges, you have to actually show up in court. Don't think anyone from bodog wants to do that.

They should have at least showed up to say that the court doesn't have jurisdiction. (You can do this, it's called a "special appearance" where you are only in court to say that the case shouldn't be in that court.)

Why would Arye show up in court? That's what lawyers are for.

The parties will likely settle for something far south of 48 million. The domain name is only worth millions to Bodog. What is the "owner" going to do with it (other than sell it back to Ayre)?

You cant "go after all of Bodogs assets". How old are you. If judge says they owe $48 Million, they owe $48 million (thats assuming they dont win on appeal).

Id be willing to bet that Bodog has significantly more than $48 million and paying that amount , if they have to, will not affect the day to day operations of their business much at all.

I would also guess that they can have their attorney appear for them in court without Ayre showing his face.

I wouldnt even be surprised if whatever court this is has no jurisdiction to actually make them pay.
