Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
Skip the tourneys and play the live action at the Beau. They'll treat you right there.

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
Please post a trip report. I'm curious to see how things are coming along after the hurricane. I heard that they are building up rapidly.

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
things are coming along fine in Biloxi. Casinos are just fine.
My Dad just came back from yet another 3-card-poker trip to the IP and Beau. |

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
my dad does not play holdem or other regular poker period.
All he plays is 3-card-poker and maybe video-poker. |

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
I agree with Chipr777. The two tournaments you have to choose from are not anything wonderful. I assume your time is limited, so spend it playing somewhere worthwhile instead. The Beau Rivage is the nicest, but if you have a chance, check out IP also.

Re: Visiting Biloxi, need help...
If I'm not mistaken boomtown is one of the only smoking cardrooms left.
Just FYI. I rather skip a tourney than have some guy blowing smoke beside me. One of the things I really hated before the poker boom....smoking in the card room. |
