Action on River ($5/10 B&M Play)
$5/10 Kill Game in a B&M casino
Hero is BB with A9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]s UTG folds, UTG+1 Raises UTG+1 is a tricky but somewhat too loose player, probably the second or third best sitting. Folded around to Hero in BB (amazingly enough...) Hero Calls. Flop comes 9, rag, rag rainbow, 1 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Beatiful flop for our hero. Hero bets, villan calls. Turn is the Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero Bets, villan calls. River is the K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero...? Hero has no particular reason to suspect a flush or other big hand. IF 1) hero bets and villan raises, hero...? 2) hero checks and villan bets, hero...? Results: Hero bets, villan calls and shows AJ of spades, hero wins 7BB |

I bet and probably bet/fold here in less you think villian is capable of a bluff raise.

Re: Action on River ($5/10 B&M Play)
b/f seems like a good play to me.
Do you think UTG+1 will continuation bet? Why not c/r the flop to force UTG to face 2 (and to see if UTG+1 freebets? Just an idea. |

Re: Action on River ($5/10 B&M Play)
If you can't fold to a raise, check/calling seems like a better option. Against a more straightforward opponent, it waivers between bet/fold and check/fold.
