Anyone going to the Midwest WSOP at Caesars Indiana?
Was out there for the circuit events a few months ago, and it was a cluster F---. Wonder if they will have enough tables to accomodate this time? Anyone been around there to get the vibe? I will probably just be out there from Thursday through the weekend to see how things go. I may not be able to make it until Thursday morning, which I may be an alternate in the first event.....which sucked the last time in the $300NL I was in.....had to double up immediately when I sat down or I was in trouble.....luckily I did, but ended up out in like 76th place.....
Anyone with any info? |

Re: Anyone going to the Midwest WSOP at Caesars Indiana?
I'll be at Purdue the first weekend, so I'll miss those, but I'll be playing..
April 24th:$500 27th: $1000 28th:$1500 30th: $5000 I don't expect a huge turnout for the $1000 and up. The $5000 will be lucky to get 75 players I would think. The structure is very unimpressive as well. Only 5000 starting chips. Here is the structures $300-1500/40 mins $500-2000/50 mins $1000-2000/60 total joke $1500-2500/60 still a joke $5000 Main Event-$5000/60 weak |

Re: Anyone going to the Midwest WSOP at Caesars Indiana?
What I meant about it being a cluster F--- is that I wired money for the first event because I knew I wouldnt make it there to register until the morning of. I was told by the manger of the place that wiring my money will reserve my seat. Well, the day before, I read somewhere that you had to be present to register for the tournament. So wiring the money was worthless, because it didnt reserve you a seat. Lots of people were pissed because there were lots of alternates......some got in as late as Level 4 I think.....
Just hoping they do a better job of conveying information this time. |

Yes, I did that as well and was livid. I got in at the 100/200 level and we started with 1500.
