Default AQ - top two can I get away from this.

Villain is unknown. FWIW - I hate my Cbet, I think I should have checked as the board was so dry.

Meh shove him on the turn, AK is possible, So is A8 or a set on 8's and 4's. If thats the case i would pay him off. The cbet is fine since your hand is weak. I would've maked it 6,25-6,5.

Surely it's not that weak, on this flop I'm either WA/WB. Does checking the flop not get more value from all weaker aces, and pocket pairs and reduce the risk of loosing a big pot to a set.

I think you have to bet the flop. You build a pot with weaker aces, you don't neccesarily blow them out of it. AT or AJ will call here. Also it balances your play because you are going to be betting this flop a lot when you miss.

Edit: forgot to answer your question lol. If opponent is very passive I might think about letting this go, but as is I am happily getting it in on the turn.

The c-bet is perfect and there is absolutely no reason to even consider checking this flop. As played, just get it in on the turn.

I had to read this twice to realize its not an omaha hand in the wrong forum. :/

i'd say at worst you're up against a PP in the BB that spiked trips. Smooth call BB could very well have PP here, and with a c/r on the flop?

That said, i'd bet the flop 6-max too.

w/o any info on the villain, i would then check and call down for value.

You're behind trips, ahead of many other possible hands and still have 4 outs although i'd say your more likely to get paid off more if you catch a Q over an A.

whether its good to cbet here or not depends entirely on your cbet frequency in this spot.

I wouldn't have called the min check raise.

I would call turn and call river or push if he doesn't. He's got worse aces often.

So your raising the flop minraise?

As played, I call turn and call/push river also.

Yea Im curious too, if you arent calling his min raise Im guessing youre shoving over it? If you are, then why would you do that, the board is very dry? If you meant you are folding, then that makes no sense because later on you said he has weaker aces often.

I like it so far. I also like calling the turn and getting it in on any river. If his weak turnbet actually means weakness you're better off calling. If he has a good hand there's just about none card on the river that will shut down our action. And he has a draw about never on this dry board.
