This has probably been said, but running up the score just seems like more chances to get hurt, not that they will be getting taken out on purpose. Things are going pretty well, but they might be better off just taking it easy when they are up by 30 points instead of doing a 2 minute drill every possession. Then again, they are so good they are probably taking it pretty easy most of the time. I wish the Chargers would play like this, and I think what the Patriots are doing this season will be really good for the game.

Nobody is saying it would be nice or good if someone took a cheapshot at anyone in the Pats. The thing is the chances of those things happening increase as a team gets fed up with getting the score run up on them. Is it right. Hell no. Does it happen? Of course it's happened in the past.

Nobody is promoting dirty shots, just things happen when grown men who probally have too much testoterone, get riled up.

Well I just feel like I've heard someone say "it's not about the ethics of the situation but about risking your player's health" about 6 different times. I don't know why I keep opening this thread.

I think the Pats could still beat a lot of teams without Brady but for sure, goodbye deep post-season run.

I'm not sure what they're supposed to do though. I mean, Brady played one snap into the 4th quarter iirc. Are they supposed to sit him at the end of the first half?

If they did that in the Colts game, this thread would have died a merciful death.
