I don't know if it has been posted on here yet, but that spinning lady changes directions on its own, it's not your eyes that are doing it.

My girlfriend and I were watching the same girl on the same screen but seeing it go a different way

ok, this is annoying me

I stared at it for minutes. Took a break, then stared at it some more

as much as I chanted to myself: "THIS DANCER IS ROTATING COUNTERCLOCKWISE" and concentrated as hard as I could, I couldn't see it. I think I need a visual clue. What is it that could actually be construed to be going counterclockwise?!

is this some sort of huge level?

stare at any single body part and everytghing is CLEARLY going clockwise.

[/ QUOTE ]

Try staring to the left of the image for awhile and using your peripheral vision. That's what got it for me the first time.

On subsequent times, I can switch by looking at the girl's bottom foot. Just tell yourself that the bottom foot "rotating" is actually just a 2d image, so you can't tell whether the foot is pointing towards you or away from you.

It's weird, because when she spins clockwise, she's standing on her left leg and when she spins counter, she's standing on her right leg.

for everyone that can only see clockwise, i was once like you...

I know, i know, you look at and say "theres just no [censored] way it's spinning any way but clockwise, it's so clear, this must be a level."

for me, i just kept wanting to see it counter clock-wise, i would close my eyes for like 2 seconds, open them visualizing her spinning counter clock-wise and bam, got it.

it took me forever but seriously it works

FOR WHOEVER THINKS IT'S THE IMAGE AND NOT YOUR EYES/BRAIN

get a group of people together atleast 5 or 6 to be sure to have differences, and watch it at the same time. People will see different things at the same time. When I finally got it to switch, i grabbed my friend and he still saw it going clockwise, nothing special, he said... this thing absolutley baffles me

If I'm concentrating I can make it switch back and forth.
