Default Hot or Not?

villan is 44/23/2.3

plays better post flop than his preflop numbers indicate, but he still sucks obviously.

why?

not the check part. i understand the rational for that play. but bet more? i mean im throwing out 2/3 psb oop into two players who called a flop bet. I think the strength of my hand is defined by that action more than whether i bet 100 or 125

Not hot. Against a nit you can get away from this hand (probably), but with those stats on villain you must go all the way here.

Other than that the hand is fine, though a check on the flop is not unreasonable. A small-medium PP is likely out there, and top pair type hands are quite possible, too. Besides, they'll figure the flop missed you, and you may get played with. Should probably mix it up on the flop in this spot, c-betting, I don't know, roughly half the time. Thoughts o this, anyone?

Assuming he is a good postflop player as you say, I like the way it was played. You bet twice into 2 people and got raised, 1 pair, even with "top top", is not that exciting. Call if you think he is capable of doing the min-raise just to check down the river.

right, so you might as well charge them more if you're going to define your hand for them

check behind turn

call or bet river, maybe raise if he seems weak

i prob value shove, i feel villain has AQ AJ AT here alot.

weird, huh? it seems every time i cbet one of those guys they never fold any ace high on the flop, and obv if they spike TP they go wild.
