PokerTracker on a Flash Memory Stick
I play on 3 computers, so I would like to have my PokerTracker portable and the registration allows only two codes.
Is this possible? Does it work well for you? How big of a Memory stick do I need? |

Re: PokerTracker on a Flash Memory Stick
you probably have to ask Pat about this one over at the PT forums. You'll probably get a better answer over there

Re: PokerTracker on a Flash Memory Stick
It would not work for multiple computers, because the reg info is stored in the windows registry, which is unique for each computer. As for the database, that sounds like a good way to tote it around. The database does not get too big compared with the size of those drives. Even a 32-meg drive would hold lots and lots and lots of HHs (i.e. >1 million hands).

Re: PokerTracker on a Flash Memory Stick
Buzz-cp, you are wrong about the size estimates. A 32 MB drive might hold 10,000 hands, not 1 million.
Another piece of software that might help is Second Copy. This keeps copies of your data files sync'ed across multiple computers and laptops. Google it for info. |
