villan is very agressive. certainly capable of firing two/three barells. So i kinda didn't want to let him off the hook easy with a c/r. Turn card blows, since it completes like the only draw on the flop.

Any ideas on how to play this better on the turn & river.

you can c/c the flop, but you must lead the turn. what's he supposed to put you on when you c/c the flop? he's never betting the turn unless you're smoked. And he can easily have a lot of outs. Bet the turn, dude.

I just save myself a giant headache and check/raise the pot the flop.

i hate ur line too...i'd either try to get more money in on the flop or lead the turn. i think c/r'ing that turn is good with a bluff bad with a set. maybe if the turn was a 3 or an ace i would like the c/c c/r plan. as it is i would just shove the river, i think he has aces up more than qt.

As played on the flop, I like this. The board is getting dangerously draw heavy on the turn.

im a fan of leading the flop if you have a decently aggressive image... as played on flop his turn check doesnt make sense for tq i think that jj is more possible but would play it as u did.
