They block pokerstars at my college, but i see people playing it all the time. I am wondering if anyone know's how to enable it?

wait how'd they block it? Like your all connected together through the dorms or something?

Online games including pokerstars dosen't connect... But sites like full tilt poker and party poker do.. weird

You're not the first person to report colleges blocking poker sites. This may be the wave of the future.

Potential solutions: Your own internet (if they allow cable TV or phone lines in your dorm), subscribing to a VPN service (outbount GRE protocol needs to be allowed by your campus firewall, as well as outbound TCP port 1723), or subscribe to a Verizon or Sprint wireless data plan (PCMCIA card for your laptop or desktop w/ a PCMCIA adapter).

I'd stay away from proxies as typically many people are lumped on to single IP addresses. Also avoid Findnot.com as it is often used for fraudulent purposes and some people have had their Neteller accts locked when using findnot.

Other than wardriving for an open wireless network or setting up your own proxy/VPN at another location off campus (home/friend's house/parent's business, etc) I know of no free solutions to the problem.

(I've heard some poker sites have mirrors but do not know specifics....it is possible the mirrors aren't banned in your case, especially since they apparently don't know about Full Tilt (yet) to add them to the ban list.)

Why don't you just ask the people you see doing it how they're doing it? That is, if you trust them, of course. Letting a complete stranger "enable" PokerStars on your PC probably isn't a good idea.
