Heh. That's gay, because of 1 hour your going to make a completely non competitive team?

[/ QUOTE ]

Its my fault anyway. I should have given you guys weeks to turn in your keepers, sent out several reminders, and provided means other than 2+2 (like AIM, email, and the league message board) to deliver the names.

My bad.

I have no problem allowing ZBT to pick up his keepers as requested above, if its open to vote...

[/ QUOTE ]

He essentially posted them on the same day as everyone else.
I'm fine with it...if he just never bothered to post them or let Cald know at all that would be a different story.

All,

Under "League Home" on the league page, click "Draft Results" to see everyone's keepers in the correct draft slots.

As far as the drafted/undrafted argument goes I'm not getting what the problem is. If you picked up a undrafted player and want to keep him it costs you a 10th round pick. If you don't think someone who you picked up off waivers is worth a 10th rounder than don't keep him. It was in the rules and rather clear.

I don't think that someone you drafted in the 11th+ round though should count as a 10th. Part of a keeper league is drafting players who will be good in future years and not just the first year you have them. This means drafting rookies or other players late in the draft knowing they will just be taking up a roster spot even though they won't help your team for at least one year.

So I vote keep the 10th round rule for undrafted players people want to keep and have drafted players cost their draft round.

Draft is tonight, 11pm eastern.

Mmmmm, after reading the whole thread, I can't find a person who didn't understand that rule. Straw man much?

I have heard this argument by some of you. Is it that so? Really?

Lets do an analysis of the keepers for this year:

Ronnie Brown (RB MIA)
Peyton Manning (QB IND)
Rudi Johnson (RB CIN)
Shaun Alexander (RB SEA)
Larry Johnson (RB KC)
LaDainian Tomlinson (RB SD)
Steven Jackson (RB STL)
Torry Holt (WR STL)
Willie Parker (RB PIT)
Reggie Bush (RB NO)
Willis McGahee (RB BAL)
Tom Brady (QB NE)
Terrell Owens (WR DAL)
Marvin Harrison (WR IND)
Brian Westbrook (RB PHI)
Javon Walker (WR DEN)
Roy Williams (WR DET)
Lee Evans (WR BUF)
Frank Gore (RB SF)
T.J. Houshmandzadeh (WR CIN)
Laurence Maroney (RB NE)
Marc Bulger (QB STL)
Joseph Addai (RB IND)
Cedric Benson (RB CHI)
Vernon Davis (TE SF)
Deion Branch (WR SEA)
Tony Romo (QB DAL)
Marion Barber (RB DAL)
Marques Colston (WR NO)
Drew Brees (QB NO)
Maurice Jones-Drew (RB JAC)
Santonio Holmes (WR PIT)

So, exactly which percentage of the above guys were using a bench spot without playing all year? Hell, which percentage didn't help the owner last year? I mean, so that you can justify the great skill involved in the late picks.

I mean, I love you guys, but you need more substance to justify the different between a late draft pick and somebody taken from the wire.

10th versus 15th, 16th or 18th is just nuts. For me the value difference between the 2 is minimal.
