I love the Drive-By Truckers and CCR. Obv they're not considered great but Southern Rock Opera and The Dirty South (DBT records) got some pretty good reviews.

and someone else said Sublime. The title says "NOT considered great". Both these bands are considered some of the best by a lot of people.
