In this situation that you limp/call PF, I would play this hand for set value. If not improved, I fold.

As played, the flop decision is raise or fold. Calling would be a terrible decision especially if you think you're ahead (if Villain has two over cards). You should have reraised preflop and lead out flop regardless of texture. 88 is a very tenuous hand but I always like to know if I'm beat or just being strung along for a river ravaging.
