We have always been owned by a citizen and resident of Latvia and have no U.S. based ownership. Our servers are also located outside of the U.S.
As to the login problem, it does not occur if you use www.ThisIsTheNuts.com rather than just ThisIsTheNuts.com I will work to see why the problem occurs when you leave off www but the site has been and will remain fully live.
