Re: Too thin? 3/6 river
Betting here is good/standard, I'd usually bet a little more too, but it's fine.

I prefer to bet turn [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, now that you have a lot of showdown value and are ahead of most of his range I think betting the turn is better too. Especially because you say he is loose and below average I don't mind inflating the pot despite a mediocre hand because you can outplay villain on the river and avoid paying off unnecessarily. |

betting turn and cehcking river > checking turn inducing/betting river? [/ QUOTE ] I could go either way there, and I don't think one is better than the other really......you played this hand fine IMO. |

Re: Too thin? 3/6 river
I like betting turn more bc most of the range he calls river with calls turn and it gets value from draws (which will only sometimes bluff the river)

Re: Too thin? 3/6 river
I think bet turn or bet river are almost close in ev. Betting turn is a bit better vs draws, but bet river is a bit better vs worse made hands. That said I think there are more combos of draws and you could get a bigger bet called by a draw than a worse made hand will call on the river.
