Default Protecting overs?

Villain is a 59/3/1/72 who loves to bluffraise with strong draws.

PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. MP3 posts a blind of $0.25.
3 folds, MP1 calls, Hero raises, MP3 (poster) calls, 3 folds, BB calls, MP1 calls.

Flop: (8.40 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, MP3 folds, BB folds, MP1 calls.

Turn: (6.20 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 checks, Hero bets, MP1 raises, Hero calls.

River: (10.20 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP1 bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12.20 BB

I don't know if raising the flop is correct but since we have odds, large pot and overcards make up a large part of our outs I would think raising is correct to protect them.

The turn is butchered. WSD:72!

Raising the flop is fine, but you should take the free turn card. With those showdown stats, he's never folding a pair. By the river, KJ is the only legitimate drawing hand we're ahead of, so I'm folding

Flop raise is expert. Turn bet is meh. Given your read you had to know you were getting raised, and the fact that the Qd didn't actually improve your hand with respect to Villan's range all you seem to be doing is reducing your effective odds from 7:1 to 3:1. I mean, if you thought the guy was an absolute nutbag and you're trying to get 3 bets out of him on the turn/river then sure, but it doesn't look to me like that's the optimal play.

flop raise was good. Your flop raise was exactly like a free card play. Should have opted to take the free card.

take the free card.

If we take the free card should we really fold river always? I think we will induce a bluff 100% when ahead but get valuebet 100% when behind (given we are behind more often than ahead and the pot wold also be smaller?)

(I assume villans range is close to ATC, scewed to stuff that hit the board light but is going to SD anyway) I'm a total monkey in these situations with AK.

Yes, The turn bet was pretty stupid. WSD 72! 50c just seems to have an enormous respect for the board pairing except when there's a good chance exactly has the card that is pairing.

I was just unsure about this raising to protect overcards on the flop since you recommended something else in a hand that runs like this:
Hero in the big blind with KcQh. Player in EP raises. The button and the small blind cold-call. Hero calls. The flop is 9s7dJh. The small blind bets.

The latter is a call because two out of three players already have a stake in the pot and won't fold for two bets.
The opposite is true in the first hand.

Isn't that the number of hands the stats are taken over, not the WSD?
