How do you know he's a maniac? You don't give any reads at all, why bother posting if you're gonna make it really really half-assed? You didn't even convert the hand? Oh, and not to discourage any other readers of this thread in case OP decides to take out results, but he lost to aces.

If you're against a maniac, 4-betting preflop is the only play. I'm assuming the maniac is ibiza.

As played, raise flop too.

Leave the results out in the future and convert the hand.

Also, is he a maniac in position or just all of the time? He 3-bet an UTG raise in a 9-handed table, he's generally not gonna have complete trash.

i think this is one of those spots where you can four bet to isolate his range, yeah it puts your hand almost face up, but most uNL players wont four bet QQ so by doing that if he calls he most certainly has AKS AA OR KK with his range being much more heavily weighted towards AA, or KK,
as played if he really was a maniac, min four bet him to 13 then fold if he shoves, but that looks awful, so id just fold it preflop or shove it

sorry about the poor post iam new and was really in a rush and will check out that site so thanks !But i label him as a maniac becuase he was super aggresive with moderate hands and doubled up a few people at the table. I wanted to string him along , I put him on AJ anyway and when he bet the flop i just called to represent a flush draw. I figured that would be what he put me on and wanted to see that push without a heart on the turn. Thanks for the replies and sorry about the half ass post .
