I would lose $377.87. Wouldnt really care, we are so lucky that we had chance to make money in first place from sitting in front of computer and pushing buttons. I would prolly go back to full time student in high school(dropout) and just spend more time travelling and enjoying my life. Thanks poker.

Would be much more intresting scenario if all the moneys/things/connections ive gotten thanks to poker dissapeard. Then I guess it would be the usual story of uneducated finns, living in "ghetto" on unemployment money and beating my ugly girlfriend every friday after drinking one too many beers.

You should never leave most of your net worth online, ever! I learnt this the hard way, did a money transfer with a guy a couple years ago. Turned out that the money he sent me was from a stolen CC and they froze my account and confiscated everything, cause they said I was in on it. I had most of my $$ online and had built it from scratch, took me 2 years to get back to where I was.

These sites don't just have to close shop for you to lose your money. They can confiscate your money for whatever reason they deem reaonable, and you can't do anything about it. So don't leave more than you need online. You don't need the 30 or 40 buyins to play your limit in the accout. Cash out regularly and put it in a seperate savings account meant for your roll, and reload from there if necessary.

[/ QUOTE ]

This sounds more like why you shouldn't trade money with people you don't know personally, so you don't do things like, I don't know, unwittingly launder stolen money or get scammed.
