I think we just started the bear market. There was a complete break down. Thankfully i was short dow futures and made a killing!!!!!!

If by this you are saying "I am 100% certain that in an indeterminate amount of time in the future we will be in a bear market" then I agree with you. If you saying that "I am 100% certain that right now is the start of a bear market" then you will quickly become a victim of your own arrogance. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying your pomposity will get the best of you if you think like that. I hope you can see why and humble yourself to the markets. Because if you can't, the markets will make you humble. I speak from years of trading experience and years of being humbled myself. Please, be careful.

I was being a little tongue in cheek. I meant your first interpretation: "I am 100% certain that in an indeterminate amount of time in the future we will be in a bear market"

Entropy ensures the death of our universe. If the universe dies, stocks will be worth $0. It's impossible to avoid a bear market for eternity. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
