Forgive me, I\'ve never played at Pokerstars
So VPP and FPP are different? Just give me an example, let's say I want to get 500,000 FPP for a tournament entry. So I play a lot of hands and in the end that's all I get? Or do I get bonus money or something else worthwhile?
I don't get the hype so I must be missing something, because I could just use my rakeback from full tilt to buy-in to something a lot easier (i think) than not getting rakeback but getting points to use instead. Thanks |

Re: Forgive me, I\'ve never played at Pokerstars
1 VPP = 1 Base FPP
http://www.pokerstars.com/fpp/ VPPs are counters that are used to set a players VIP level. VIPs earn bonus FPPs but not bonus VPPs. If you played Stars in 2007 and earned 500,000 VPPs as a Sit & Go player, you will have paid $100,000 in rake. You will have earned 1,642,250 FPPs. We would sell you $14,000 in reward bonuses for 200,000 FPPs. The $12,000 WSOP package sells for 700,000 FPPs. The two items above are worth $26,000 or 26% rakeback plus you would still have 742,250 FPPs (worth about $11,876) left over. Just under 38% rakeback not counting all the promotions we will run for VIPs in 2007. Scotty |

Re: Forgive me, I\'ve never played at Pokerstars
Hallo Scotty,
I don't understand your calculation. You said that a VIP player can get $14,000 in reward bonuses for 200,000 FPP's, but a reward bonus of $1,500 costs 100,000 FPP, therefore you can get only $2,000 for 200,000 FPP's. Can you explain this huge difference between our an your calculation? Thank you |

Re: Forgive me, I\'ve never played at Pokerstars
When players hit one of the following VPP milestones - 200,000, 300,000, 400,000, 500,000, 750,000 they will be eligible to purchase a special reward bonus*:
$2,000 at 200,000 VPP $3,000 at 300,000 VPP $4,000 at 400,000 VPP $5,000 at 500,000 VPP $7,500 at 750,000 VPP * Each reward bonus will cost 50,000 FPP. In order to claim the reward bonus a player must collect additional Base FPPs totaling 5x their reward bonus amount within 120 days of receiving the bonus. Example – To release your $2,000 reward bonus you would need to earn an additional 10,000 Base FPPs. Players are eligible for one bonus per milestone level reached. Scotty |

Hallo Scotty,
ok, I dont't knew about this special reward bonuses. That's corresponds indeed to a high rakeback percentage. Thank you for your quick answer. |
