Default Bubble hand from live Foxwoods WPT Sat

Live at foxwoods ACT 3 $1000+$50. 5 players win seats to WPT. 4 others get a freeroll ACT 3. There are 7 players left. I am the chipleader with 75k. 2nd in chips had 35k. He's in the BB in this hand, I'm in the SB. Everyone else has around 20k, 20k, 10k, 10k, 6k.

1st hand back from break. Blinds are 1000/2000 w/400 ante.

Dealt to me: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Short stack with a wide range as it is goes all in for 6k. Folds to me. SB has 35k next to me. He's a smart super-solid player.

Action?

Holdem,
Seems to me this is pretty standard givin the stack sizes and the situation. I think you have a clear call with no reason to isiolate. You said the the bb is super solid so he should be calling any 2. Check the hand down and get it down to 6 and cruise to your seat. I cant see folding or raising this situation IMO, the chips just do not mean anything at this point. Isolation seems right in most situations but definitly not here....Hope he didnt suck out

Que?

If you are chipleader, a shorty pushes and its folded to you w/ AKsooted, its a pretty easy push, everyone behind you needs a pretty big hand to play if you push (AA/KK, maybe QQ, but some will muck KK) with the seats so close.

is there more value in calling to knock him out?

I'd rather not have to make a decision for anymore chips than shorty's, and its not like shorty is on the ultimate bubble here.

I see your point, but I'd rather blow everyone out behind rather than make a tough decision on 4th with top pair and a flush draw or something like that....

If it was the ultimate bubble, flat call to encourage others to do same.

I could be wrong.

Woodguy

i'd flat call and attempt to check down

other big stack makes NO moves in this situation if he has any real grasp.

Bingo. Other stack in this hand isn't going to put us to tough decesions post flop, hes not looking to play chip leader for a pot he doesn't need when what he REALLY needs is to knock another player out. I call.

Just re-read the stack sizes, and realized the size of our lead and our lack of need of chips at this point......calling is probably better then.

That's the best plan.

I've thought about playing in these Foxwoods ACTs- how would you rate the quality of play?
