I don't like that is doesn't show interest as it accumulates daily like ING does =(

I just noticed that, too. Mine was officially set up like 2 days ago but it doesn't show interest..I'm HOPING that's all that means, and it's not something silly like needing to "Authorize HSBC to begin giving you interest". lol.

I know the HSBC process is longer and complicated than others but I love their system, especially customer service. Very professional.

OK, luckily the 2nd verification was made this morning. So one day...thats not so bad.

Hopefully I don't have to verify my checking account anymore. Let the 6% guaranteed interest begin!

I just opened a new account, and my second deposit hasn't made it yet. It will be three business days tomorrow. Do they always take three business days? Emigrant used to take about one/two business days.

Ok, I sign up and verify my checking account. Now I want to deposit my money (I only deposited $1 to start). I have gotten no information on my account number or anything to sign into online banking. My "application process" is complete so it does not recognize me signing in there. It does not accept my app. number to sign up for online banking.

Where am I supposed to get my account number and/or sign up for online banking? I must be missing something because I'm sure they can't make it that difficult to deposit more money with them...

Snail. Took me a while to get it. It is a very stupid system. They email you a temp User ID for online banking and then send you the temp password in the mail a week or so later if I recall correctly.
