Re: Greatest People of All Time
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Jesus (who's obviously in a class all by himself) is the number one person of all time! [/ QUOTE ] That may not be so obvious to a lot of other people [/ QUOTE ] Sure it is. Either he's the greatest man of all time, or he's the greatest scam artist of all time. [/ QUOTE ] Hardly a scam with a line of prophets spanning 1500 years promising he'd come and saying what he'd do before he got here. [/ QUOTE ] I nominate Splendour and a few other people on here as either the greatest trolls of all time, or the most insane people of all time. |

All kidding aside: Jesus (who's obviously in a class all by himself) is the number one person of all time! [/ QUOTE ] He flew up in the skies right? Do you realize that he still isn't out of the galaxy yet (traveling at the speed of light)? |

An "Internet troll" or "Forum Troll" or "Message Board Troll" is a person who posts outrageous message to bait people to answer. Forum Troll delights in sowing discord on the forums. A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion. Flaming discussions usually end with name calling and a flame war. I actually never bait anyone. I may be controversial, but I am usually just giving a diametrically opposed view to the vocal majority on this forum. When the name calling commences its not me doing the name calling. I guess I speak more boldly and that's bound to elicit a stronger response. If posting scripture is considered "outrageous" I find that interesting. Scripture has been around for a couple of thousand years so how is it an outrageous message? It's certainly not a new message unless someone has failed to examine it thoroughly. |

Re: Greatest People of All Time
Yeah leave splendour alone if it wasn't for him we wouldn't talk about christianity in 99.9% of threads here and instead we'd be blabbing about the details of science or real philosophy or even math.

[ QUOTE ]
I was thinking about this the other day. I think Einstein in 1905 had the single greatest year in human history hands down. I have no idea what/who/when number 2 is. [/ QUOTE ] Gandhi had a fantastic season once. Helped drive out a superpower and led the league in home runs. |
