I call down here 100% vs him.

so you think he gets out of line here with...what?

i called the flop thinking i beat 55-88, but the turn and river were 6,7 so i folded...

[/ QUOTE ]

You don't only beat 55-88, he can have alot more. I play with him alot on party and stars.

Your hand reminded me of this hand I played yesterday vs a friend of him who plays very similar:

Party Poker 100/200 Hold'em (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Button raises, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

River: (10 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has 8h 8d (two pair, tens and eights).
Button has Jc 9s (two pair, tens and nines).
Outcome: Button wins 12 BB.

and it becomes more and more apparent that most players who are crushing the bigger online games do not post on 2+2.

[ QUOTE ]
I think I'd consider all 3 options preflop especially if SB is any good. As played I just fold unless I'm underestimating his spew factor postflop. I mean does he realize how far behind 88 is vs your capping range? If he can have 88 here how about 44? If that's all true I guess its a call down or a call, call, fold if he'll always take a free SD.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think if we're ahead here, he's probably more likely to have a hand like 87s with a backdoor flush draw than 88 or 44.
