Playing on a dinner table at my friends house tonight i lost 22 dollars to total idiots!!! and i dont think ive ever been this pissed ever!!! Im not sure why im so pissed, i think it's cuz they think they are good. The worst is when you get crushed and the people think they are playing good.... i want to puke. if i get min raised/string raised/raised less then the min raise one more time i think im going to jump into on coming traffic. i hate you all!!!
and here is to hoping i dont wake up. |

Re: WHY I HATE HOME GAME POKER.
Welcome to home poker, get used to this. For the future, for constructive analysis, you should probably include a bit more information. You do make a fair point about min-raising and less then min-raising though.

Re: WHY I HATE HOME GAME POKER.
Roughly 78% of all general aviation crashes are due to pilot error. The same applies to poker.

[/ QUOTE ] OK I will be constructive since on one else has. I feel your pain. To me, losing a buy in to a good friend of mine who thinks he's good, plays like a donkey, likes to talk strategy but doesn't listen to what I say (even though he knows I'm a winning player), is a LOT more frustrating than losing a buy in to some donkey at a casino I don't know. Even if the casino buy in is 10 times as much... This is a big weakness in my home game as I get frustrated by this guy, go on tilt, and make bad decisions. Now I don't talk poker strategy with him anymore as I've been doing this for the last couple years and it has helped improve his game a lot. |
