I retract my previous advice to check because I now understand why betting is better. Checking would be more appropriate if you had a top pair type hand on a K high type board, rather than a set on a low board.

I dont mind turn check btw, because your hand then looks exactly like AK/AQ/TT-JJ.

And you can extract value on the river from the majority of that range (AK/AQ) vs some of his range that beats bluffs.

That said if he had TT-QQ or some horribly played AA/KK then betting the turn is clearly better.

I just think when you 3-bet this pf (which I hate btw, but I understand it's fine) you are repping big pairs/AK-AQ.

Is villians range really going to be able to pay of 3 streets of value vs the big pairs? Would u bet 3 times with Air?

Thinking more about it, I think u need to bet the turn here because you could let him make a random str8 with his pp, but in saying that you will get paid on the river an awful lot if you:

3-bet pf
C-bet flop.
Check behind turn
"Bluff" River

if you can stand the varience of giving him a chance to catch up vs giving him the impression his hand is any good.

also, if he's thinking, you can adjust your bet sizing to look more 'bluffy' if you will. most players will interpret a larger bet = bluff so it might get him to call a bit lighter if you bet larger. if he's not really thinking about any bet sizing, then 60 on the turn looks fine.
