Wow I thought that whole Pulp Fiction thing was made up because I didn't really believe anyone would actually eat MAYO on their french fries.

[/ QUOTE ]
McDonalds used to - and a few years ago someone told me that a few states like CO still did - have a "fry sauce" condiment that's basically a blend of ketchup and mayonnaise.

Dunno if you can even get some decent mayonaise in the USA, I didn't see/eat any that's for sure.

Fries originally come from Belgium and you can fault Belgians for a lot of things but they definitely have great taste over there. Mayonaise with fries and their beer = matter of fact proof of that.

People in my high school did this all the time. Get a basket of fries and a styrofoam tray, and smear packets of ketchup and mayo together on the tray and dip the fries in it. It was so disgusting.

Potato Chips

Does anyone else think that a newly opened bag of potato chips smells like a fart? So horrible.

Only when:
a) The offender has recently consumed large amounts of vinegar, BBQ sauce, and/or nacho cheese
b) You have purchased fart-flavored potato chips

ETA:
I used to get eggs over easy all the time in diners or whatever, but now the warm, runny yolk makes me queasy and I always get them scrambled.

I once dated a girl that couldnt touch ... the cotton from a pill bottle.

[/ QUOTE ]

LOL, the feeling of cotton balls or really soft toilet paper between my fingers also makes me queasy and I shiver uncontrollably for a few seconds.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow! My sister and I both get the shiver thing when we touch cotton balls. It's hard to describe why, but it's like I can feel all the individual fibers rubbing against each other inside the ball.

It didn't use to bother me, but it bothered my sister, so when we were kids I would terrorize her by pulling cotten apart right in front of her face.

Then at some point in high school I went over to the dark side, and now it freaks me out too. This whole thread has been making my skin crawl.

FYP.

Gettysburg College - Meal Equivalency at Cafe 101. Order the Quesadilla and Fries. Fill paper condiment cup halfway with ketchup. Fill rest of the way with mayo. Mix with fry. Bon appetit!
