Default terms - HEM and Leveling

Can someone tell me what HEM stands for and also what "Leveling" means?

Search for leveling; theres been a whole thread on it recently in beginners forum.

As for hem, are you sure you don't mean "meh"? On this forum it's not an acronym, it's a sound that means approximately "so so"

Do you mean REM, range/equity/maximize? If not than sorry I can't be of help.

6 of one, 1/2 dozen of the other

EDIT: Also, a "verbal shoulder shrug". Google an urban dictionary for further definitions/examples.

How does Vizzini decide which glass to drink? By examining the levels (I know you know that I know). He happens to be wrong because The Man in Black cheats but the process is still illustrative.
