Default Feed the Fish - keep the games alive!!

As we all well know the source of new fish is drying up.
legislation and difficulty depositing hold back many from starting to play.
So it becomes more and more important that existing Fish be given a reason to come back.
<font color="red"> </font> SO WHY AREN'T WE MAKING THE GAME FUN FOR THEM?!?!? <font color="red"> </font>
Why are we not talking to them, joking around with them and making it an overall enjoyable for them even though they are losing?
I was talking with some 40/7/.5 today who stayed at the table as long as he could for a lil chit chat. When he had to leave he asked ME, someone he alnowledged as good and probably professional, how he could find me at the tables next time he was on.
I thought to myself "wtf howeasy was that, why the hell don't I do this more often?
If online poker becomes a social environment we will increase the overall experience and the likelihood of return for OUR customers. THey give you money, give them a reason to give it.

Play fun and gambly, not nitty and annoying like 90% of tags. Then they'll like to play with you.

I hope I'm not. But is this not the exact same strategy any good salesman or business person would use? Maybe they are jackasses as well

if you're preaching to be a good person or whatever, wonderful, thats certainly a nice thought.

but you dont need to do anything phony/over-the-top "nicities" just to get a fish to stay a little longer.

as said, you surely meant well, but this makes it seem as though you need to create a false persona just to scrounge up the tiniest bit of +EV (and it could be in your head anyway)

Fish think they're winning players, that why they play. We do not need to be a casino to entice them.
