Seems like the value was fine. Most of us don't see much value at sitting with BG, and may see negative value in having our hole cards shown. However, that that is not the way random players think. This seems a lot more interesting to me than playing in an SNG with McEvoy.

Also, BG is a Big Game regular, and some people might see value is him commenting on the play and showing his cards.

The two changes made were a direct result of this thread. I called them and told them that the value was being questioned. I'm happy to represent PokerStars when, with one short phone call, they make the correct change to an unpopular stance.

Awesome. Thanks Barry (and Scotty).

As someone else said this is why 99% of my play goes to stars and why it will probably always stay at stars, bravo.

That's really impressive.
I'm not even playing in this tourney but this change has left me with a very positive impression of Stars as a whole.

Similar to Barry who is proud to represent Stars, it leaves me practically feeling proud to just choose Stars as my primary site when they react this quickly and do something classy like this.

6th, didnt play very well, plus grinder was a pain in the ass on my direct left, playing every hand and hitting, 3 betting me a ton. I couldnt make a hand and didnt fight back very well.

Also, barry wasnt eligible for prizes, which makes it a pretty good value.

My bust hand gives a pretty good idea of how things went. Hand before this I lost a bunch of chips when grinder 3bet my A288, K42 flopped, and I gave up.

Barry said they'll do these about four times a year, I'll probably play it again.
