18/15/3 is not a nit. 3betting is fine, although calling on the button is an option. so long as youre not set farming.

my point is his range is much wider then a flush here. if villain calls the flop the 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] is a relatively blank card on the turn and shouldnt bother villain too much. what flush is he repping, AK or AQ[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

you think he can fold QQ/TT here? If he has something like AK/AQ and called that flop, obv they were spades and it got there. He atleast has a J here

if he decided to smooth call AA/KK/QQ pf which is less likely given he opened CO and I 3bet btn, hes almost certainly (95 percent?) check/raising them all in esp. on a wet board.
