Default 10 nl i call down a maniac

villain is absolutely insane. will bluff at anything.

should i have raised at any point?

sorry. I misread the hand.

I often call down here. With overaggressive players, Its often better to let them bluff away their money. Sometimes they bet, bet, bet but shut down when facing aggression.

If he's a true maniac, I'm not folding.

Yeah, I think if he is that insane, you have to call down. Let him bluff away his money.

Now another question. If we thought we were ahead on the turn, we'd still be ahead on the river. Do you ever push, or would that be too -EV...?

Only if he takes that as a queue to slow down or fold. Your likely miles ahead of his range.

that's pretty read dependent. "will bluff at anything" doesn't necessarily mean, will call down with anything.
