As a Chiefs fan I hate the Broncos but this is just sad. He was a very good player.

My initial reaction is of course that this is a horrible tragedy. But I will never understand how these guys fail to insulate hemselves from this type of thing.

This was terrible. Plus every sports website has this headline hidden away somewhere. I don't get why this isn't worthy of being the main headline.

Edit-forgot a very important word.

It may not be exactly the same, but I can't help but think this is like the Corey Lidle situation, where the chances are the tragedy doesn't occur if the outcome of his last game is different.

Darrent Williams was a great player and played a large part in defeating my redskins last year. One could tell though be it his hairstlye or his demeanor that he was a fun and nice guy.

R.I.P Darrent Williams

looks like Javon Walker just missed death to given he was in the car.
Williams may not have even been the one who was in the argument with apparent shooters.

is downtown Denver this sketchy?

This is horrible, sad news.

My heart goes out to his family, and die-hard Broncos fans (especially young fans--for whom this can be very traumatic).
